Today no content. Only begging for support and donations and more subsribers the I may be able to continue to build small boats sail the deep blue endless eternal sea to far islands and during that time do short videos for my Youtube channel that you can see.

My great friend Peter is in this video helping to beg as he also have been helping me to build, give advice and driving me around to purchase things that are bigger than my bicycle can carry.

Sven Yrvind
Hi My name is Sven Yrvind. I design, build and cruise small boats. 1962 I left Sweden in 15 feet converted Blekingseka. I soon found out that there was room for improvement. To understand the basic I began to study mathematics and engenering. 1968 I sailed to England via many contries in a converted 13 feet rowing boat. People told me I be more happy on a bigger boat. November that year I found a wreck an old steam launch build 1885 I converted her to a staysail schooner and sailed her to Rio de Janeiro. That voyage advised me that a bigger boat do not bring happiness, happiness is an inside thing. I designed a 6 meter doubble ender built her in my mother basement. Tried to sail around Cape Horn with her but was capsized and pitchpoled. Later I built an 5.9 meter boat in her I rounded Cape Horn in the southern winter June 1980. I have continued to design, build, and cruise small boats often in high latitudes. Please support me on my donation button on my site yrvind.com
