In this quick boat project breakdown, Armand tackles replacing the on/off switches on our water tank separator valves aboard Cosmo, our Dufour 43 monohull.
Managing 100 gallons of freshwater across three separate tanks: a 40-gallon tank in the V-berth, 30 gallons on the starboard side, and 30 gallons in the aft cabin; means our selector valves get used constantly. Armand walks through our trial-and-error process, why the cheap generic switches and Sharkbite options fell short, and why upgrading to marine-grade Whale valve switches was the ultimate fix for our plumbing setup.
