This week we leave Nafplio behind and sail off into the dark, a bit exciting and a bit scary. You gotta keep yourself on your toes and move out of that comfort zone right..? That sunrise you get in those early mornings at sea, are just mesmerizing. I can never get enough and they never get boring! I got to sail alone for a bit, while the rest was sleeping, and I was totally at peace out there at sea. Perfect morning!!
After a full day at sea, we arrive in the most awesome city in the Peloponnese. Most probably even the most impressive city you’ll ever find in Europe, an ancient city that is carved out of the rocks.. Monemvasia! Some good days here in the Peloponnese.

*Who are we?*
We are a European couple from Germany (Alex) and the Netherlands (Mandy), sailing around the Med on our 36ft sailboat. Six months ago we started our journey in Greece with little sailing experience, figuring things out as we go, not really knowing what we’re doing. Our goal is to circumnavigate the world via the wind, always being surrounded by the ocean.
