Heya, we’re Cozzy and Mitcho. Thanks for joining us on our Sailing Ocean Life and for sailing with us as we head home… sadly to our land home in Perth WA.

So, the time has come to head “home”. We had hoped to get closer by sail, Carnarvon was our destination of choice, however we have landed in Exmouth which it’s safest place to leave Ocean Lady over Christmas. We sort of feel like Ocean Lady is our home now, so we won’t be leaving her for long, and we’re excited to be welcoming some new passengers aboard come the new year with my two daughters hopefully flying back with us to Exmouth and Mitcho’s sister and her family coming on board later in January.

Meanwhile, we’ll be getting ourselves and Ocean Lady organised for our next segment of Sailing Ocean Life with new sails to purchase, motor issues to fix and we have a lot of alcohol to brew. On this journey we took with us 90litres of home brew spirits knowing we wouldn’t be able to pop into the local bottle shop in some instances. Well, we’ve almost consumed and shared all of it! We have enjoyed being generous with fellow sailors and of course we’ve enjoyed the convenience ourselves so we’ll share with you how we brew it so you can also brew at home, it’s so easy!

We’ll continue to update you on our weekly adventures as I’m sure you’ll recognise some sailing friends faces as we hope to head down to Dunsborough to catch up with Andrew and others.
