The PILL caused my LIVER CANCER
Heya, we’re Cozzy and Mitcho. Thanks for joining us on our Sailing Ocean Life.
Welcome back! You’ll be pleased to know that Cozzy’s operation is done and dusted, woohoo… and although the tumour was cancer (a well differentiated hepatocellular carcinoma to be exact), and they ended up cutting out HALF HER LIVER, her future prognosis is awesome with no cancer cells remaining. And with three monthly scans and a very large, ugly scar being the only outcome of this whole ordeal, we feel so blessed and grateful.
We’re even more grateful to be given the surgeons blessing to return to Ocean Lady – do you believe it!!! We have a list of things to do a mile long before we can get going, so we get stuck in, pack the car full of provisions and drive from Perth to Exmouth in one hit – 1,200km, Yikes.
We’re SO EXCITED to see Ocean Lady and we’re pleasantly surprised to see she is not as bad as last time when she was covered in a thick layer of Exmouth dust.
We’re one step closer to setting sail to Darwin, we are frothing to get back on the water and are very excited to be taking you with us so thanks for coming aboard, it’s much more special with YOU here.
