We slow things right down this week, settling into a sultry sail through Lombok and letting island time take over. Warm water, lazy days and that quiet kind of magic that only seems to show up when you stop rushing.
There are emotional goodbyes, familiar faces stepping onboard and that instant feeling of home that comes from sharing a boat with the right people. From there it is postcard anchorages, tropical islands and doing what we do best, eating our way through paradise.
One night we are tucked up by the shore enjoying fancy Italian, the next we are at a simple warung with no electricity, solar lights glowing and bellies full. Different worlds, same joy, and one of those moments that will stay with us forever.
We finish up drifting past Gili Air for a feast that delights both the eyes and the taste buds. Slow sailing, good food, great company and Lombok doing what Lombok does best.
