Sailing Ocean Life POST-OP after CANCER TUMOR was removed from her liver
Heya, we’re Cozzy and Mitcho. Thanks for joining us on our Sailing Ocean Life Post Op.
Our return trip home to Perth just before Christmas was only meant to be 2 weeks, but it’s now been 3 months since we left Ocean Lady and we can’t wait to return - but it's not long now!!!
Cozzy’s liver operation to remove a large tumour is done and dusted and she has been recovering at home, surrounding herself with loved ones and taking life easy for now. The surgeon was happy with the operation outcome, but with an 8cm lump and 50% of Cozzy’s liver removed it was a bigger op than originally thought. We're still awaiting to learn if it's cancer, they won't know until the tumour is biopsied which takes two weeks, so we're off to a follow up appointment with the surgeon where we'll also learn if there is any follow up treatment required, we are crossing everything it's not cancer!
But it’s recovery time now and we’re getting ourselves ready to return to Ocean Lady. We're not sure when we can return, but we have plenty of work to do to get organised, so we’re scrambling to get back on board our Lady!
