Heya, we’re Cozzy and Mitcho. Thanks for joining us on our Sailing Ocean Life - land life version (for now).
Our sailing ocean life journey had really only just begun when we returned home to celebrate Christmas with family and whilst there Cozzy underwent a full health check discovering a LARGE suspicious looking lump in her liver. What a life changing that health check turned out to be!
After undergoing all the usual checks and balances that are required with a discovery of this size – MRI, Cat scan and PET scan - it was determined that major surgery was required to remove the tumour from Cozzys liver and we were told by the surgical team that it needs to take place in the coming weeks.
We were given the 22 February as the operation date, so we’re leaving Ocean Lady… again, and returning home… again, because whilst we’ll miss our sailing ocean life, health is way more important and what we are sailing into is bigger than any squall we’ve experienced. We don’t know what’s ahead or how to navigate this journey, but we guess we’ll find out soon enough.
What’s important to us is that you’re joining us on this journey, so thanks for coming aboard, it’s much more special with YOU here.
