Cozzy's Birthday Surprise in Onslow
Heya, we’re Cozzy and Mitcho. Thanks for joining us on our Sailing Ocean Life.
The sun is slowing slipping away from us as we sail into the small industrial town of Onslow, and isn’t it just beautiful? Onslow spoilt us with some special treasures, a peaceful bay, a tranquil stay and a lovely welcome from some friendly people. Romano and Cornelia had seen us sail in and met us with a cheerful hello and a birthday greeting once they knew it was Cozzy’s birthday. One of the many treasures when sailing is the people we have met along the way and these two precious souls are no exception.
We were both pumped to be enjoying a night in a “real bed” and a luxurious one at that! Onslow Beach Resort was Cozzy’s birthday treat and what an awesome birthday it was, Cozzy got to sleep in a king size bed and didn’t even have to climb across Mitcho to have a pee in the middle of the night… and at 5am.
It was also the place where we welcomed the beautiful Dom into the sailing community. Dom is a delightful friend from Perth who wanted to join us on this voyage, and we were pumped to have her on board, to be honest, it had been a long time since we saw a familiar face, so we were excited to share the adventures with her.
