SPERM WHALES in Dominica!

Oh-my-gosh! Finally! Finally! Finally, the day has arrived for me to see my first whale while sailing Britican. For two years now I’ve had my internal whale radar on and for two years I’ve missed every opportunity to see a blowhole, a dorsal fin, or a fluke. Yesterday while sailing along the beautiful coast of Dominica in the Caribbean we came across two whales together and then another whale that came SUPER close. In fact, it came a little bit too close… To my amazement, hubby (Simon) switched off the engine of the boat, got his mask and flippers, and jumped in to swim with the whale! Simon looked right into the whale’s eye!

I get a bit excited in this video…so I apologize for sounding like an absolute moron. It’s just that I’ve wanted to see a whale forever. Enjoy!
