A perfect commissioning means the owner never knows there was a problem to begin with! In this video, we track the journey of a stunning brand-new Blue Water 56 (Hull #9). We start on the deck of a massive cargo ship where the boat has been welded down for transport, cut her free, and watch the high-stakes crane lift as she touches the ocean for the very first time.
But it’s not all smooth sailing. Right out of the gate, we run into a tricky lithium battery over-voltage issue when firing up the Cummins generator. I break out the laptop, dive into the Victron and MG systems, and show you exactly how we troubleshoot and dial in a massive 10,000-watt inverter setup.
