This is the final episode of our sailing trip through the Pacific Northwest, specifically the San Juan Islands. We lived on board our friends’ Caliber 47 sailboat for two weeks and had an amazing time, even though the monohull did that whole tilting thing.
We had no idea what to expect when we set out on this trip. All I knew was that I needed to bring warm clothes. And I was certainly happy that I had them.
I loved all of the beautiful flowers, types that I don’t ever see in Florida or the Caribbean. And those crabs! So delicious. We are now experts at eating Dungeness crabs. All you need is a few napkins and a pot of butter.
