Let’s look in depth at out yacht anchoring technique step by step, the anchoring technique we use everytime to ensure we’re holding firm and won’t drag. It’s our tried and tested technique that has so far safely got us around the world for over 20,000 nautical miles without once dragging.
We look at our trusty Rocna anchor, look at scope – how much anchor to put out – pulling back to test the anchor, using transit lines to check hold, use of an anchor snubber, and more.
