Just as many are taking up the movement, we sold everything and bought a boat to accomplish our dream of sailing around the world. We set off on a road trip to see our boat for the first time.
***This is our very first episode. None of this footage was ever meant to go live, it was just home movies meant for family until we were influenced by others to make a YouTube video to share. In the early episodes we didn’t have a clue about shooting video, recording sound, or editing videos. This was a learning process, just like sailing. If you are disappointed by the sound or editing, just fast forward to our newer episodes and enjoy!***
We also discuss our efforts to turn her from coastal cruiser to ocean crossing ready! The J Boats J/46 is known as a racer-cruiser and we enjoy the speed she produces as well as our ability to react quickly to different weather forecasts. We discuss a few upgrades we made to the boat before we launched her in the water.
