Sailing SV CUBA has been on an incredible journey sailing around the world, and this week they’ve reached a stunning location: the Exumas islands in the Bahamas. The pristine waters and white sandy beaches are perfect for a relaxing sailboat adventure.
Overcoming Challenges While Sailing
The crew faces some obstacles on their journey, such as trying to fill up their gas bottles. In the beautiful island of Guanahani, they attempt to find a solution. But it’s not an easy task as they encounter various connections and different standards across the islands.
Anchorage and Exploring
After a brief stop in Guanahani, they move on to find an ideal anchorage in Allan’s Cay. This picturesque location offers shelter from the winds and a perfect spot for exploring nearby beaches. Sailing SV CUBA discovers friendly iguanas lurking onshore.
Fixing the Dinghy Engine
The crew also tackles issues with their dingy engine. They work to solve this problem and attempt to add a hydro foil to enhance performance.
