From the day we bought Sunday a shroud was showing signs of corrosion that we paid close attention too, along with damaging our forestay crossing the Aegean Sea and our insurance not covering anything to do with the mast/rigging (10yrs old), so this was essential to replace as soon as possible.
We had quotes from Malta, Greece & Turkey but after months of researching and constantly hearing about the best place for rigging being in Marmaris, Turkey we slowly started making our way there to replace the standing rigging for our up coming Atlantic crossing.
We have heard exceptional things about riggers in Marmaris and after 4 quotes, we chose a company called M2 Rigging who did not disappoint. The rumours are true what they say about this place here in Turkey, these guys far exceeded our expectations. We have made a short video for them and appreciate the hard days they put in and great service they showed completing in just 2 full days.
