Boat Work | Sailboat Maintenance | Sailing Sunday Ep. 52

With the boat lifting onto the hardstand last week we commence our boat works which predominately included doing some repairs around the prop shaft, sanding back the keel removing rust spots and filling and fairing, epoxy, prime underneath and finish off with some anti foul.

While we were doing all this we replaced all our sea cocks with glass composite Tru Design. We made a video on the whole process step by step on how we did it and why!

We also have special guests Rick, Lou and buoy from Salacia Star arriving from Albania to help us. With Rick sailing his while life competing in almost a dozen Sydney to Hobart races his knowledge and muscles were put to good use!
