We sail day and night across to Sarande, Albania trying to make our way to Greece before winter really sets in over here in Europe. We plan to spend to a few days in Sarande waiting for the beginning of the month to pay our Greek Tax. If you don’t know, Greek Cruising Tax is paid for the whole month, whether you arrive on the 1st or the 31st, you have to pay that whole month!!
Albania has been a great destination on our trip, and it exceeded its expectations once again as we expected an empty anchorage all to ourselves this time of year we found 3 other sailboats, all AUSTRALIAN!!! The chances of that is incredible, so we did what any other Aussies would and drank lots of beer before heading out to our final destination for the 2019 year!
