Two days at Sea.....Then the storm hit! sailing Croatia to Greece
After an incredible summer cruising Croatia, it was time for Sea Moon to point south and begin our passage from Dubrovnik, Croatia to Corfu, Greece.
Before leaving, we had one last day exploring Dubrovnik, including a walk around those spectacular city walls and a final look at one of Croatia’s most remarkable cities.
Then it was anchors up.
What followed was a 36-hour passage south, with open water, night sailing, Starlink keeping us connected, and that wonderful feeling of having nothing but sea around us.
Eventually, the Greek island of Erikoussa Island appeared ahead. We'd made it to Greece, dropped anchor and thought the passage was over.
We thought we were safe.
But the weather had other ideas.
A storm that looked as though it would pass us by changed direction and headed straight towards our anchorage. After 36 hours at sea, Sea Moon wasn't quite finished with this adventure yet.
