After another incredible sailing season, we’ve hauled Sea Moon out at Cleopatra Marina in Preveza, Greece, where she’ll spend the winter on the hardstand. This time, instead of leaving the boatyard behind, we’re staying aboard for an entire week.
Living on a catamaran out of the water comes with some unexpected perks: hot showers, proper washing machines, a restaurant, a mini supermarket and a chandlery just steps away. But there’s another side to life on the hard—constant noise, maintenance work and the unsettling feeling of living aboard a boat that can’t actually float.
