Is Mljet National Park Worth the Cost? Our 24 Hour Review

Everyone in the cruising community told us we had to visit Mljet National Park. So, after sailing a relatively short 46 nautical miles from Dubrovnik, with a few island stops along the way, we arrived in the peaceful village of Polače and tied Sea Moon to a local restaurant dock.

With just 24 hours to explore, we hired bikes and set off to discover everything this beautiful national park has to offer.

From visiting the 800-year-old Benedictine Monastery on St Mary's Island, floating through Mljet's famous lazy river, swimming in the crystal-clear saltwater lakes, and exploring hidden military tunnels carved into the hillside, to finishing the day with an incredible Croatian Octopus Peka, this became one of our favourite stops along the Adriatic.

At the end of the video, we break down exactly what it cost us and answer the big question...

Was Mljet National Park worth it?
