Is This The Best "Go Anywhere" Monohull? We Think So | Discovery 48 Tour & Review

Welcome to our dockside tour and review of the Discovery 48 (or is it 480?). This episode we take a look at the boat that was supposed to be RR2- we always intended to upgrade to a bigger Southerly, and this really is the perfect monohull for us.
If only they were still being built!
I emailed Discovery but have had no reply. It is unclear if they are still operational. Please comment below if you have any further information on this!

EDIT: I have received an email from Ocean Shipyard with the following information:
“We have just watched your fantastic Discovery 48 Tour & Review video on YouTube, and I wanted to introduce you to Ocean Shipyard Limited. We started in January 2022 after the sad demise of Discovery. We have Discovery’s core team working for us and have attained all the intellectual property rights and tooling to build the Southerly Yachts range and Catamarans.
We have recently launched a Southerly 48 and we have a Southerly 48 and the first new generation Southerly 42 in build.
We are also operating as a rounded shipyard offering extensive refit services and bespoke joinery.”
