We find our own little piece of paradise..... and it's fantastic! cute little bays with beautiful beach all to ourselves on a tiny island just off the mainland of Turkey, we hang out on the beach, enjoy the crystal clear waters and amazingly a very cool man arrives on his boat with freshly baked bread, oh my god it was delicious, shame I can't magic more cash up in these remote locations!

Discovering Paradise at Anchor in Turkey
In today’s episode, we find ourselves dropping anchor in what feels like a hidden paradise here in Turkey. As the sun sets on our spectacular location, we also have a special visitor – delivering some freshly baked bread straight to our boat! 🛶🍞
The Anchorage
After an exciting day of sailing, we found ourselves in this serene little Cove. The crystal-clear waters and white sand beaches are a sight to behold. As you can see from the video, our anchorage location is surrounded by lush trees offering some shelter, and the cool breeze made it absolutely perfect.
Local Bread Delivery
One of the highlights of our stay was when a local boat came by to deliver freshly baked bread! This kind-hearted man had baked his fresh produce at home, including various preserves and pickles. Sadly, we didn’t have any cash on us, but he graciously delivered it anyway. He mentioned how it was just a short 20-minute trip from where he lived.
Safely Anchoring in Shallow Waters
As we settled into our paradise anchorage, we faced the challenge of finding the perfect spot to drop anchor. The shallow water made it necessary for us to choose a place where we could still see the bottom clearly while also ensuring there was enough depth to hold securely.
The Floating Rescue System
We were gifted a floating rescue system a while back by our friends. Originally designed for open water use, it had been stored away and was quite worn out, but we decided to give it new life! We fixed the frayed ends and have since used it as both storage for rope and, of course, as an actual floatation device.
Exploring More Hidden Gems
During our time here, we made sure to thoroughly enjoy every moment, swimming in the beautiful clear waters and enjoying the serenity of this hidden Cove. The ducklings even got a chance to play with their favorite toy ball! If you’re in search of a peaceful anchorage filled with natural beauty, this is definitely one not to miss.
A Family-Friendly Anchorage
The overall atmosphere at our anchorage was calm and relaxing, making it a perfect stop for families like ours traveling aboard our sailboat. The absence of any roads nearby made it clear that we’d stumbled upon a truly untouched gem in the heart of Turkey.
