This is the story of SV Niniwahuni, a west sail 43, and the family who found themselves 950 nautical miles off the coast of Mexico, with NO MAST. Shawna and their 3 young children were rescued by a cargo ship, and taken to Hawaii, while Travis refused to let their boat sink without him. He had a long way to go back to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and it was about to be the craziest adventure of his entire life…

Also a big thanks to all of the people who sent in footage of the rescue including SV Sea Legacy, Craig, Dirk, Hanna, Caroline, Angela, Michelle, and Elaine, who all delivered diesel and food to Travis at sea.
