We are looking forward to introducing you to a few cruising legends who we have met along the way on our voyages across the seas.

What better way to kick this series off by starting with the guy who got us into cruising in the first place – Rod Waterhouse from David Bray Yachting Boat Sales. Rod and Jackson used to sail together at the Manly Skiff Club before we set off on our trip.

Rod, having been one of the cruising pioneers, set off on his first passage half way around the world in the 80s and has since then done 5 trips like it.

Rod is a highly accomplished and networked boat broker who’s ultimate passion is getting more people out there cruising to far away places for long stints of time. He was in Jackson’s ear about how easy it is to do and how flipping tremendous it is for a few years until it got to the point where Jackson thought let’s give this cruising thing a go.

So now here we are, 20,000 nautical miles later with the man who gave us the confidence and the know-how to do it. We simply could not keep this resource to ourselves, so were super keen to share it with you all.
