Welcome to Sailing Okaliptüs, formerly known as SV "Ourper Diem"! 🌊⛵
Embark on a journey of adventure and discovery with Donovan and I as we navigate through the vast oceans aboard our new sailboat, Okaliptüs. We learned to sail on our Catalina 22 named Ourper Diem and we've since transitioned to a bigger vessel, embracing the freedom and possibilities it offers.
At ages 51 and 52, we decided to shake things up by undergoing our midlife crises simultaneously. We bid farewell to our careers, sold our home, and embraced the sailor's life aboard a catamaran, determined to explore the world's waters. Currently sailing in western Greece after sailing from southern Turkey, our experiences unfold in each episode, capturing the essence of our journey.
