Ep. 210 ~ After leaving Kalamata, we sail down the western side of the Peloponnese to the beautiful anchorage of Foinikounta before continuing on to one of the most impressive historical sites we've visited in Greece.
We explore the incredible Methoni Fortress, a massive Venetian stronghold surrounded by the sea, wander through centuries of history and discover why this fortress became one of our favorite stops in the Peloponnese.
From there, we sail north to Pylos and Navarino Bay, where stunning scenery, Hollywood film crews, life at anchor, unforgettable sunsets and a late-night anchoring surprise remind us why cruising life is never boring.
