Sailing Greece: We Had ONE Chance to Make the Lefkada Bridge Opening 🇬🇷
Ep. 212 ~ After exploring Zakynthos and anchoring in the protected National Marine Park, we continue north through the Ionian Islands with a mission: make it through the Lefkada floating bridge before it closes.
Along the way, we stop in the charming harbor town of Poros on the island of Kefalonia, navigate around giant ferries, enjoy a relaxing evening ashore and then set off on a 50-nautical-mile race north against the clock.
With strong winds, crowded canal traffic, and uncertainty surrounding the bridge closure, the final stretch to Preveza becomes far more challenging than expected.
