In this episode of Sailing Nandji, after one of our scariest times at sea and a very challenging passage we arrive to Rabaul, Papua New Guinea. With only 5 nautical miles left to arrive into port, the nightmare passage is not over yet. Sometimes you have to rescue yourself… I guess this how to make a Smoky grand entrance into Papua New Guinea!

We are a young couple with a dog, who with no sailing experience, bought a yacht, got it blue water cruising ready and set off sailing around the Pacific! We just arrived to Indonesia after cruising the Pacific islands, so many places to explore!
