Needing to get a heap of things fabricated for our refit, lets go to the land of GSD (Get Sh$t Done) https://www.sailingnandji.com
In this episode of Sailing Nandji, our refit is moving forward in leaps and bounds. With the engine room overhauled and the bow rebuilt, we have run into a wall as Chinese New year fast approaches and majority of the businesses in Langkawi shut down for 2 weeks. The lead up to the New year everyone was in holiday mode already and we could not get anything built. Uncle Kevin to the rescue!!! We load up his vessel with everything needed to be remade and a list of items needed to be purchased and off we go sailing to Thailand!
With no sailing experience, we bought a yacht, got it blue water cruising ready and set off sailing around the Pacific! We have just sailed 2000nm through Indonesia and have arrived to Malaysia to complete major boat work, ready for the next big adventure. We departed Australia 18 months ago and have since explored some amazing countries, met some beautiful people and experienced different cultures, dived pristine reefs, surfed solo in the middle of nowhere, spent weeks at sea, dealt with storms, big waves, strong winds and had the time of our life doing it! The adventure is just beginning as we sail West with the trades!
