In this episode of Sailing Nandji, Bonita’s parents travel from Australia to come visit us in the Solomon islands. Since they made the effort to come all this way, we spend our first nights sleep on land in over 7 months! They arrive just in time for our first monsoon in the Solomons. We have winds over 40 knots and torrential rain for days. It was a good time to be on land with Nandji safely anchored out the front. We head out fishing when the weather allowed us and the competition for biggest fish heats up! Will Bonita’s dad win? Or does Bonita win one for the ladies!
The sharks do not go hungry in this area and they know when there is fish around! The filleting table is a deadly place to stand!
