Wild Sail North 20 Knots 2 Metre Swell a Code 0 Gamble Sailing North to the Flinders Group Australia
Welcome back aboard Moor R & R for this week’s Adventure! Episode 51
This week, we leave beautiful Lizard Island behind and continue our journey north, heading towards the incredible Flinders Group of Islands.
With around 20 knots of breeze and a 2-metre swell running, we decide to take a bit of a gamble and put up the Code 0.
And with the lines out and the trolling gear in the water, we’re hoping the fish might play along.
Luckily, they do!
We manage to land several fish and have an absolute ball out there, enjoying one of those perfect days on the water.
But then the wind starts to change.
Suddenly, we’re struggling to hold onto the Code 0, and it quickly becomes a bit of a race to get it back in before we lose it completely!
What follows turns into one of those fabulous sailing days where everything just seems to come together.
So, let’s leave Lizard Island behind and head north towards the incredible Flinders Group!
