In our final days of sailing on the Kraken 50, we get more comfortable living aboard, including cooking in the galley. With Adam and the team dealing with failing winds above deck, below deck, I prepare a semi successful meal for lunch.
Not wanting to let the motor beat us but still contending with light winds, in the afternoon we prepared the Kraken’s version of a Code 0 – The Code K. We arrive at our anchorage for the evening in almost record time doing 5.5 kts boat speed from 7.4 kts wind.
The next morning, with only a 30 mile sail ahead of us, we could afford to spend some time swimming and relaxing. Eventually, we depart and after 5 days of sailing on the boat we head back to the marina to hand it back to its future owners.
