EP 190: Man vs Prop | Boat Work and Yacht Maintenance
We got hauled out.. which means boat work needs to commence. We were not looking forward to any of this but had to get it done. Ricky was in charge of the outside and I was in charge of the inside. (Spring cleaning and touch up paints) First task was to remove our props as we wanted to seal them with propspeed. Then we had to sand down the hull and area where we would reapply our saildrive flange. Once that was complete.. Ricky did some paint touch ups with a nifty little spray bottle. Our flanges were installed and glued in for hopefully a long time and this time we hope the adhesive holds.. Stay tuned for next week were we carry on getting Lady Africa back to her old self.
