We are continuing with some boat maintenance projects while anchored in St. Martin, a French Caribbean Island. After sailing thousands of nautical miles and anchoring 99% of the time while living offered cruising full time for the past three years, it’s time to replace our 300’ of galvanized anchor chain. We purchase new chain and swap the old chain for the new all while at anchor, but not without facing some challenges along the way.
