Join us as we finally leave Sint Maarten and set off on an 80 nautical mile night sail to the British Virgin Islands! After days of prepping, provisioning, and tying in our hot water heater to the engine, we’re ready to hoist all the downwind sails! From wing on wing, to goosewing to flying our asymmetrical spinnaker for the first time, we encounter smooth downwind sailing but not without some challenges that require problem solving and resolution before the anchor drops in the clear tropical waters in the BVI!
