When everything just breaks seemingly at one time, you can lose your mind a little bit. After all the work to convert Ixion to an electric sailboat, this set back is frustrating.
We are finally reaching the end of our long stretch, and getting ready to move onboard. Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned when two large storms blew through, causing damage to our dodger and solar panels.
To top it off, we begin to experience electrical issues that gets in the way of charging our batteries. With a broken solar charger, we can’t run our electric motor. Making the electric motor conversion useless.
Everything is broken. Oh what fun. Life just has to pump the breaks on everything.
