Now that the frameless port lights were installed, it was time to beging painting the bottom of our Catalina 30. Bottom and bootstripe are next up on the list of projects as we get ready to launch and begin sailing! It makes a pretty Electric Sailboat!
In order to finish the bottom, we had to sand off the top layer of antifouling paint and fix the Catalina smile. Once that was complete we could begin painting the bottom of the hull a new color, and jazz it all up even more with a fresh new color on the bootstripe as well. Appearance isn’t important for safety when you’re sailing around the world, but everyone likes to look pretty! Join us as we get covered in paint!
