Our first DIY project, mold-making fixed portlights from scratch to install in our Catalina 30 It was time to do away with the old frames, and build new modern fixed portlights.
After removing our leaking portlights and realizing 1/2 could not be reassembled without replacing the plexiglass, we decided to do something unconventional and completely modernize Ixion’s look by designing frameless portlights all from our own design. These boys with boats love to make things harder for themselves.
