This short is a deviation from our regular shorts associated with our sailing episodes. Unfortunately, just after we sailed into Bahia de los Angeles on May 28, 2026, we were victims of violence by another American who was using drugs and hiding there from legal issues in the United States. After stabbing Tim multiple times, he fled the scene and is still at large. We have made this short video so people can help us spread the word about the danger of Alex and to help us locate him so he can be arrested, whether he is in the United States or in Mexico. This also serves as a notice to all sailors in the Sea of Cortez as he could be hiding out in any town along the two coasts, baja or mainland. Meanwhile we are doing ok and healing from the injuries while following the Mexican legal process to help him get detained here in Mexico.
We are two recently retired educators, looking to live the blue water cruising life on a teachers' retirement budget. Follow us on our sailing channel as we share our journey around the world in the most affordable way we know how.
