Our future retirement home in the Sea of Cortez was hit hard by Hurricane Hilary, leaving us devastated. Torrential rains triggered mudslides from the surrounding mountains, flooding our home and setting back our dreams. In this episode of Sailing into the Mystic, we show the reality of preparing for a liveaboard sailing lifestyle—the triumphs and the setbacks. While we may not be on the water this week, our commitment to our dream of retiring on a sailboat remains strong.
