Karen is at it again. Stripping and eating my nuts. She sits on our bed and continues to talk about boat life. Buying a used boat you're lucky to get 85% of what you originally wanted. Small additions here and there help bring it closer. We wish the front A/C strainer basket didn't get clogged up so often. About once per week. The main hassle is the A/C unit is under our berth so we have to strip the sheets, move the cushions, and support boards. This time it was a fish. Karen showed our so called "closet" in the owner's cabin and it's magnetic doors. It is really an 8 foot long shelf. At least we have an ensuite head and separate shower stall.
A previous owner had painted a lot of the beautifully finished African Mahogany inside. We've been slowly stripping off the paint. A new leak developed down below in the salon. It was traced to some teak in the cockpit. Sanded and applied polyurethane with UV protection to seal it better. It worked! No more leak!
We always try to dance and don't take ourselves too seriously.
