Hard screwing, sanding, staining; lots of DIY projects. We’ve made several improvements to the galley to enhance its looks and functionality. Several new shelves, one with self closing glides and another that swings out. Karen just loves the glides. After a lot of screwing at some difficult angles, Steve got a new tool! The battery operated nail gun just makes things a lot easier. The new tile counter really modernized and lightened up the galley. Dancing in the galley.

Featuring the sailboat Isabella, a Super Mikado 56 made by the French shipyard CNSO. Sailing, partying, dancing, cooking, and sometimes pushing the limits. This sailboat had been neglected for some time when she was purchased. Lots of cleaning, sanding, refinishing, new lines, refrigerator, pumps, water heater parts, whole boat water filters, bow thruster, lighting, fuel filters, instruments, air conditioning, etc.... Some of the fun with refitting a sailboat is to be able to do economical but quality improvements. Elbow grease saves a lot of money, watching for sales, knowing when substitutions can be made that will last, and of course enjoying the final product. We sail, fish (haha), dance, fly the drone, sometimes wear bikinis, DIY, ride the motorcycle, listen to great music, and enjoy life. Older sailors don't have a clew when to quit; they just keep lubing their winches.
