Fantasy & Lovers Ep127
Fantasy Fest, Key West, pedicure, Key Deer, Dancing, teak repair, EVA teak, dinghy ride, and bikini. We added some non slip EVA material to the cockpit lazarettes. It really cleaned things up and should be easy to clean. Had a great time down in Key West going to Fantasy Fest. You know we had to do some dancing while there. Steve repaired a spot on the teak toe rail using epoxy and teak sawdust. Karen enjoyed a fish pedicure and we saw some endangered Key Deer which only live in the Florida Keys. Also, cleaned the 15hp Mercury outboard motor after enjoying a dinghy ride and lunch.

Sailing Intermission
Featuring the sailboat Isabella, a Super Mikado 56 made by the French shipyard CNSO. Sailing, partying, dancing, cooking, and sometimes pushing the limits. This sailboat had been neglected for some time when she was purchased. Lots of cleaning, sanding, refinishing, new lines, refrigerator, pumps, water heater parts, whole boat water filters, bow thruster, lighting, fuel filters, instruments, air conditioning, etc.... Some of the fun with refitting a sailboat is to be able to do economical but quality improvements. Elbow grease saves a lot of money, watching for sales, knowing when substitutions can be made that will last, and of course enjoying the final product. We sail, fish (haha), dance, fly the drone, sometimes wear bikinis, DIY, ride the motorcycle, listen to great music, and enjoy life. Older sailors don't have a clew when to quit; they just keep lubing their winches.
