Dead Trees and Anchoring on a Catalina 42 Ep 16
November 23, 2020 by Sailing Intermission | Language: EN Play Time: 00:11:25 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

This time on Sailing Intermission since the other fishing pole is in Davy Jones’ locker, Steve used his new fishing pole and caught our biggest fish yet. Nevertheless, we still let it go to live another day, although it would have made a fine dinner. Using the Speedy Stitcher, Steve continued his tailor skills and repaired some dodger panels. Ended up pulling out the mighty Singer 237 anyway.
Weather being what it was, we spent some time in dock which included exercising. Karen did jumping jacks and push ups to stay in shape. Going out, we checked out our sewing of the Sunbrella fabric on the jib and eventually decided to go to the islands. Anchored securely, even pulled up a dead tree from the bottom when retrieving the anchor. Steve thought the windlass was working a little hard.
