A trip taken in vain. We went to Dallas for a special event except while in flight the event was canceled. Landed and immediately rearranged our return flight for the next day. At least we had time to drive by a few of our old dancing clubs in Deep Ellum and enjoy some great jambalaya at the Free Man Cajun Cafe & Lounge. Brought back some great memories. Our first episode, Refitting a Catalina 42 sailboat, dancing and messing around Ep 1, was videoed at a few of those clubs.
Steve’s been soaking the bolts on Isabella’s engine riser’s flange for several weeks. He was able to remove them and take off the flange. Next step, remove the protective insulation on the riser to expose the metal portion and have a welder weld the flange onto the riser. We’re making progress on fixing the exhaust leak, yea! More to come on that…but that’s another episode.
It had been a while since the Vitrifrigo refrigerator had been defrosted, so that was next on our to do list. The ice had built up quite a bit and it was definitely time to melt that away. Once defrosted, it was time to celebrate aka dance time.
