The Time Has Come and It's NOT Pretty!
They call it champagne sailing for a reason. Sailing from USVI to St. Marten is always a dreaded run. Slogging through the chop, wind in the wrong direction and the never ending tacking. However, every once in a blue moon Poseidon is on your side.
What a ride this turned out to be!
Being back in St. Marten always comes with that sense of coming home. Especially when you have a list of boat jobs to deal with. We are now at our jumping off point to get the boat back to a safe place before our big Atlantic crossing is about to begin.
It’s time to get the unsavory jobs done and get this ship a sailing.
We have talked many times about game changers on a boat. Whether it was Starlink, finally getting lithium batteries, or our water maker wins. But having the opportunity to try out the @BLU3 is now 100% right up there. We have not been able to properly maintain the bottom of our boat by ourselves since day one. This device was hands down a *GAME CHANGER* for us. You can better believe it is on our list of mush haves.
