Morning Wood | Refitting our Hunter Sailboat ⛵

Like all jobs on the boat, they seem so over whelming when you look at them as a whole. We are slowing learning that you need to just eat the elephant one bite at a time. 😳

As most boats, our Hunter 460 has beautiful teak inside. Well at least it was. UV damage and neglect has really taken its toll.

Nothing has been touched in 3 years, hence the major work load that we have been doing for the past month and we’re like a dog on bone trying to get her ship shape ASAP. We are trying to take our time and not kill ourselves in the process, but it isn’t easy. The words “quitting time” just done seem to be in our vocabulary. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏼‍♂️

The day starts right after coffee ☕ and ends when we are too exhausted to move anymore 😫 Now I know we can’t go on like this forever but we are sure going to give it our all for as long as we can. It’s so rewarding at the end of the to see what we have accomplished…instant gratification! 🤘🏼

Somebody once told us a boat without a working list is a sunk boat…

So Back to work!
