Can we HANDLE THIS? : A Whole NEW EXPERENCE in the Caribbean

We have traveled to many beautiful islands in the Caribbean. Snorkeling in the beautiful blue waters. Exploring the rich green jungles.

But this time is was a bit of a shock the first time we took the plunge.

Lameshur bay is an adventures paradise. Whether you prefer water activities or land there is something here for everyone.

The underwater scape was like nothing we had ever seen with the massive boulders and caverns. Thank goodness we had our wetsuits on because after the 2 hour we spent exploring, hyperthermia would defiantly have been an issue. The water here is a couple degrees colder than we are used to and boy could we feel it.

One of the coolest things about hiking in the virgin island national park is the maintained trail systems. We have not been on a train with signs and markers in many, many months and this was a very welcoming change. The ruins here along the reef trail have been excellently maintained which gave you a real feeling of what it might have been like in the 1900’s.

We love walk through the Caribbean jungle and seeing all the different trees and plant life. The flowers, air plants and strange vegetation always blows me away.

No matter how long we are here we can safely say it never gets old.
