Legend has it that on October 2nd, 1980, the coaster MV Pantelis ran aground near Zakinthos Island and was brought to rest at Navagio beach during stormy weather. Regardless of its mysterious origin, this iconic shipwreck is undeniably a stunning sight.

A Memorable Sunrise Visit

As we approached the bay at sunrise, the surrounding cliffs were highlighted by shadows and early morning light. The contrast between the towering limestone formations and the cerulean sea created a truly breathtaking scene. While the beach itself is currently closed due to safety concerns regarding landslides from erosion, you can still approach by boat, making this magnificent site even more exclusive.
